The Pages: Nashville Maternity Photographer {Destination Photographer, Florida Maternity Photographer, Underwater Maternity Photos, Anna Maria Island Photographer}

 I have been photographing this family for so many years and have grown to adore all of them. We have been planning this session for a bit, but I had no idea that Melissa had not told her husband I would be photographing them in FL. She picked me up from the airport yesterday and I walked in to Chris being pretty surprised that she had hired me to photograph their maternity session and gender reveal to their daughters. His face was priceless!

This is a special shoot for SO many reasons. Melissa and Chris have lost and had to deliver two sons in the past 2 years. It has been completely heartbreaking, to say the least. Their unwavering faith and strength has been so inspiring to witness through such a terrible time. Their love for each other and for their children just leaves me speechless.

Melissa has not had an easy pregnancy and chose not to share the news for quite some time (understandably). She and Chris found out awhile back the gender of this precious soul she is carrying, but she wanted to tell Presley & Georgia whether they were getting a brother or sister in a special way.

So, the plan was hatched for me to meet them on their family vacation. What's more magical then revealing this news in such a beautiful place?

Melissa and Chris wanted to pay tribute to their sweet sons as well. The girls released these balloons in honor of their baby brothers before the reveal.

Now it was the moment they've been waiting for! Presley really wanted another sister. I asked her what she would do if it was a boy and her reply was "I would still have joy in my heart."

Melted.

Georgia said she wanted a baby brother and a baby sister. Ha ha ha.

IT'S A.......

GIRL!!!!

*Disclaimer--we cleaned up*

Melissa and Chris, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your reveal and -- more importantly-- a part of your lives. I had so much fun spending the day with you all and I am over the moon for you. I can't wait to meet this baby girl!!!!
